This is why Amazon and scholastic get the majority of my book business: customer service.Welcome to Staybridge Suites Hotel Ft. She gave me my books without saying «have a good day», «thank you», or any other pleasantries. She had an attitude as she figured out that I am a teacher and she had to give me the discount. I then proceeded to pull up my check stub and fill out the application. I showed her my ID she said it wouldn’t work because there wasn’t a date on it and «I’ve been doing this a long time and most IDs have dates». I decided that I was getting the discount no matter what. I also did not appreciate her rude and pointed looks.
You can’t figure that out based on a check stub or ID! She was very rude and spoke down to me.

Debbie also said that I had to teach full time to get the discount. What does that matter? A teacher is a teacher. She said I couldn’t use the discount on romance books. She told me that she would only take my school ID if it had a date on it. She implied several times that I was not a teacher and talked down to me. She then hesitantly told me about the teacher program. I asked if this applied for teachers as well. I asked the clerk, Debbie, about the kids club and she said I have to have a kid to earn the rewards. Everything was going great… until we got to the checkout. My mom, 6 year old cousin, and I went to Barnes and Noble today with the goal of getting my cousin a book. The space is quiet and calming and just right if you want to find a book and take a seat to enjoy it for a moment.

The service clerk was less than pleasant, giving her the benefit of the doubt, today was hot and muggy and maybe she was ready to go home. What if didn’t care for: we checked out at the rear entrance. What was ok: should you have a question, it’s best to ask the person located center store kiosk, as the clerks at each register are unable to assist, or so I was told. The seem to stock a fair number of all books in stock. They have signs located above the cases to let you know where each section is located. The store is large and has such a large selection of books. What I really liked: books, books, and more books. I can attest that these said cheesecakes are absolutely delicious. The Starbucks offers the same menu items as most, with the exception of Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes. The entrance closest to the exterior door is where you also find the cozy Starbucks café. There are also 2 registers, each located at an entry door. One located inside the mall and another exterior entrance that allows entry directly into the store. They have an expansive store with any book imaginable. Today, my sons and I browsed the selection at Barnes and Noble.
